Posters from EB Games stores in Australia have shown that certain stores will be giving out Arceus from Nov. 5-16. This distribution is to commemorate the twelfth Pokémon movie, which will air in Australia on Nov. 6 and 7 on Cartoon Network.

New 4-inch screen DSi to hit Japan soon: DSi LL to be sold starting Nov. 21

Update: The official site of Nintendo has just confirmed the new DSi. The screen of the Nintendo DSi LL is 4.2 inches, and it will come with a larger stylus. It will be sold for ¥20,000 starting Nov. 21, and will come in the colors WineRed, DarkBrown and NaturalWhite. This device will be titled the Nintendo DSi XL in North America and Europe, being released sometime in Q1 2010.

A poster for the upcoming Arceus distribution at Toys "R" Us revealed the release date for Pokémon Rumble for North American Wii systems. The game will be released Nov. 16 on WiiWare for 1,500 Wii Points.

The official Japanese Pokemon site has announced two events for players of the Japanese Generation IV games. HeartGold and SoulSilver players can receive Mew from Nov. 11 to 23 and the Mysterious Crystal from Nov. 27 to Jan. 11. Diamond, Pearl and Platinum players can receive Mew from Jan 29 to Feb. 11.

Pokémon Organized Play Web site still under maintenance: Site partially down for at least five days

The Pokémon Organized Play Web site has been partially down for at least five days as of now. This greatly inconveniences players, as one site feature that is down is access to the My Pokémon accounts. It is unknown when the site will be back up.

Update: Pokémon.com has updated with event information. Nintendo Power has revealed the Arceus event dates for American versions of the Pokémon games Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. The event will take place Nov. 7-15 at Toys "R" Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico.

A recently released application for the iPhone, the aptly-titled Pokedex App, has caused a bit of a controversy with its content; or, more specifically, its use of Bulbapedia's content. Connecting directly to Bulbapedia's Pokémon articles, the application displays helpful information such as stats, evolutions, and types. The problem? The application costs $1.99 to download in the Apple store, while Bulbapedia's content is strictly licensed under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 2.5 license, which states that any derivative work of the site cannot be sold.

Several official Japanese Pokémon sites have updated with information regarding upcoming events involving Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Pokémon Center stores will be distributing another area for the PokéWalker this November while shiny Eevee and cards of Ho-Oh and Lugia will be distributed during the World Championships. It was also reported that several legendary Pokémon will still be banned from the Video Game Championships.
