A new special stage that allows the capture of Celebi has been added to Pokémon Shuffle in a new patch. This patch brings the game up to v1.1.11. This stage is available until May 18, 2015.

Upon completion of the stage for the first time, the player earns 1000 Coins. There are no special rewards for subsequent completions.

Celebi can be obtained in the special stage "3.5 Million Celebration". This stage has a move limit of 20. In Pokémon Shuffle, Celebi is Psychic-type, has the Skill Stabilize, and starts with an attack power of 50. This is currently the only way to obtain Celebi in the game.

Notably, a Pinsir silhouette has been added to the Pokémon Shuffle Pokédex at number 233, the last Pokémon listed (after Celebi); it can be made to appear by searching with the scope set to "All Pokémon". This is one of several silhouetted Pokémon that appear in the Pokémon Shuffle Pokédex.
