Charizard amiibo

A new wave of Super Smash Bros. amiibo figures for the Wii U and New Nintendo 3DS were revealed during the January 14 Nintendo Direct, and among this set is a Charizard figure. This figure is compatible with Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U, and will be compatible with the Nintendo 3DS version following a software update for the game in February. This wave will release in North America in spring, in Europe on April 24, in Australia in April, and in Japan on April 29.

The first wave of amiibo figures, which are compatible with various Wii U titles (most notably Super Smash Bros. for Wii U) via placing them on the console's Game Pad, as well as some Nintendo 3DS titles by placing them on the New Nintendo 3DS touch screen, were released November of last year; the second wave, which includes a Lucario figure, will be released worldwide in January and February this year.
