Video auditions are now being accepted for commentary at the 2014 US National Championships, being held July 4-6 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the World Championships, being held August 15-17 in Washington, DC. If a person is selected, The Pokémon Company International will cover travel and hotel costs, and the person will be able to provide live commentary during the event. Auditions can be made by any US residents over the age of 18. Note that because these are auditions, not a contest, there is a chance that no one will be selected from the audition videos received.

Application Requirements

Video

To submit an audition, create a video of yourself providing commentary for a match in Pokemon X or Y or a Pokémon TCG match. Commentary may be solo or with a partner, but note that the partner cannot join you as a group audition, and is only for assistance in commentary. The video should be posted to YouTube (made public) with the title "Play! Pokémon Commentary Audition: [YOUR NAME]".
