Not even a day into accepting preorders the limited edition Pikachu Yellow Nintendo 3DS XL has sold out from all the Pokémon Center stores in Japan. It was reported that some fans waited over four hours to buy this piece of Pokémon history, with the line going around the building. A similar system will be used as seen when the Limited Edition Dialga and Palkia Nintendo DS Lite. It was further confirmed as well by the official staff blog for the Pokémon Center stores that the 3DS is not planned for general sale.
