<blockquote>Hello, Trainer!

We apologize for the extended wait on your Eevee Evolution promotional event Pokémon.

While this issue may take several weeks to resolve for all users, rest assured that this ticket will be addressed in due time. Also, please note that we anticipate another update on this matter by the beginning of next week.

Hopefully this means everyone will be able to get their Eeveelution (unless they are just whiny because they didn't play the game, that is). [[User:Phantomjunkie|Phantomjunkie]] 01:20, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Promotion is Not Available

The Promotion isn't showing up on my Promotions page to be able to befriend my Glaceon. I don't think it's actually available in the US yet--at least not here in the Central time zone. Phantomjunkie 06:57, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I've heard reports that it's not available in the US yet, due to being time zone based; however, I have mine, so they are available. --SnorlaxMonster 12:29, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
Well, it's now almost 9:30 local time (GMT -5 for Daylight Saving's Time) and still no Eeveelution promotion. I will check back again when TPCi's local time is at a more reasonable hour, I guess. Phantomjunkie 14:26, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Inconsistency

"The distribution will run for two months, from May 19 to June 19." Will it run for one month, or is it supposed to be July 19? Aielyn 10:07, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Technical Difficulties

After playing the game and planning out carefully which evolution I was to get, it says on the promotions page that I am not eligable even though I played "To Befriend a Pokémon" while it was running on the Pokémon website, and made sure the process was completed to receive my Espeon. - unsigned comment from theseriddlesthree (talkcontribs) 12:31, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, it's a well-known bug in the program, but the tech support team refuses to fix it unless you decided to randomly take a screenshot of your winning page.KrytenKoro 01:46, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Likewise, I am in the same situation. Pretty lame overall considering the cautious person I am, always double-checking things I do. Oh well, I'll survive. (I was also befriending an Espeon.) Mswheele 02:55, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Since I don't think very many people took a screenshot of the winning page (I know I didn't), it looks like we probably won't be getting the Eeveelution? -ContraMundum 00:17, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
There are so many things I could say here, but to somewhat answer your question, I wouldn't hold your breath. My friend and I used the same access point, one after another; they received their Jolteon earlier today, while my account continues to tell me that I need to be qualified to participate in the promotion. Not being new to the internet, I suppose I should know better by now than to trust that the correct information always gets to (and stored in) the correct location. New Information for players who couldn't get their Eeveelution

I was also a user who didn't get my Eeveelution. I submitted a ticket about it the day the promotion started, and I was also asked for a screenshot of the winning screen. But today (a week after I submitted my ticket) I got this response from them:

Hello, Trainer!

We apologize for the extended wait on your Eevee Evolution promotional event Pokémon.

While this issue may take several weeks to resolve for all users, rest assured that this ticket will be addressed in due time. Also, please note that we anticipate another update on this matter by the beginning of next week.

Thank you very much for your patience thus far, and again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Sincerely,

Pokémon Support Team

I also noticed that there's a new question up on the main support center page stating that they've added a new drop-down list to their ticket submission form if players are having Eeveelution promotion issues. You can now tell them which Eeveelution you were expecting to receive.

If you encounter any issues trying to participate in the event, please:

Submit a ticket to support.pokemon.com. Select the Department as Pokémon Global Link, then Promotions, and Eevee Evolution Promotion Problems. Then use the drop down menu to select the Eevee Evolution you had saved for the event. If you have already sent in a ticket, you do not need to send in a new one.

We will be able to check your account to see if the Eevee should have been received, and notify you through the ticket submitted. This may take some time to process, but please be assured that we will address every ticket that has been sent to us!

Hopefully this means everyone will be able to get their Eeveelution (unless they are just whiny because they didn't play the game, that is). Phantomjunkie 01:20, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Today, I was able to get my Eevee Evolution Pokemon. After reading and posting here about a month ago, I went ahead and submitted a ticket to support the same day. I recommend that if any of you have had problems with the promotion and did actually participate in the befriending game, to submit also submit a ticket to support. It may take a little while for them to correct the issue, but I it seems that the Pokemon Company is unlike other companies that I have dealt with regarding issues via the internet. A pleasant surprise, I can assure you! Mswheele 21:13, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
