Nintendo 3DS, the handheld game console for the eighth generation of video games, have sold more than 10 million units in Japan since its official launch, making it only the second console to ever break 10 million units sold within first 100 weeks. The first console was the original DS.

The graph shows the weekly sales figures since November, the indicated date there is the release date of Animal Crossing, Nintendo's social simulation video game. The numbers on the left are the 10,000's sold each week, matching to the bars. The numbers on the right are the total sold at that date, matching to the line with dots.
