The 2015 International Challenge April Wi-Fi tournament has been announced. Players may register between midnight UTC on April 16 and 11:59 p.m. UTC on April 23. The competition will run from midnight UTC on April 24 until 11:59 p.m. UTC on April 26. There will be 50,000 spots available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Players born in 2000 or later will be in the Junior/Senior Division. Players born in 1999 or earlier will be in the Masters Division. Junior Division players may only battle between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. local time. The rankings will be released on May 1.
Players may only use Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It is a Double Battles tournament, with all Pokémon hatched, caught or received as an event in Pokémon X and Y or Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire may be used. Pokémon transferred from the Generation V games cannot be used. Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Diancie cannot be used in this tournament.
All Pokémon above level 50 will be auto-set to level 50. Each match will have a time limit of 15 minutes. Players will have 90 seconds choose their four Pokémon. Each turn players will have 45 seconds to switch or use a move. Players may battle 10 times per day for a maximum of 30 battles in the tournament. All Play! Pokémon participants will receive one Play Point for participating.
The top 256 players in each age division will receive Championship Points, regardless of what country they are from. Players must have a Player ID and have set the settings to be able to receive Play Points and Championship Points from competitions. Players that come in 129th-256th place will receive one Championship Point. Players that come in 65th-128th place will receive two Championship Points. Players that come in 33rd-64th place will receive three Championship Points. Players that come in 17th-32nd place will receive four Championship Points. Players that come in 9th-16th place will receive six Championship Points. Players that come in 5th-8th place will receive eight Championship Points. Players that come in 3rd-4th place will receive 10 Championship Points. Players that come in 1st-2nd place will receive 12 Championship Points.
