In addition to the much anticipated Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, and the mysterious Pokémon Ranger, three non-RPG games are revealed in what appears to be a leaked scan of the September issue of CoroCoro. There is skepticism about the authenticity of the scans, however, unlike the Korechū hoax, there are no obvious indications of forgery.
A puzzle game is to be released October 20:
- (DS) ポケモン トローゼ Pokémon: Catch 'em!
Two dungeon RPGs are slated for release this winter:
- (DS) ポケモン 不思議のダンジョン 青の救助隊 Pokémon: Dungeon of Mystery: Blue Rescue Team
- (GBA) ポケモン 不思議のダンジョン 赤の救助隊 Pokémon: Dungeon of Mystery: Red Rescue Team
The previously announced games are slated for a 2006 release:
- (DS) ポケモン レンジャー Pokémon Ranger - now revealed to be an action RPG, in addition to being the title of the upcoming movie and anime series.
- (DS) ポケモン ダイヤモンド Pokémon Diamond
- (DS) ポケモン パール Pokémon Pearl
