Hirotaka Suzuoki (鈴置洋孝), the voice of Sakaki (Giovanni) in the Japanese edition of the Pokémon anime, passed away at age 56 on August 6. He played a major role in Mewtwo Strikes Back, Mewtwo Returns and the Birth of Mewtwo radio drama; his last appearance was in AG131. He was also well-known for voicing Bright Noa in Mobile Suit Gundam, Tenshinhan in Dragon Ball, and Hajime Saito in Rurouni Kenshin.
