Today's entry in the official blog of Super Smash Bros. Brawl President Masahiko Sakurai revealed that Piplup, the penguin starter Pokémon, will be present in the Wii game as one of the many Pokémon contained in the Poké Ball item.

According to the blog, when Piplup is released from the Poké Ball, it will start using Surf. Any character caught in it will have to make an effort to return to solid ground once Piplup slides off the stage.
