Update:  On the Sept. 29 episode of Pokémon Smash!, the Strongest on Pokémon Smash! Tournament will be held. To commemorate it, the winner's Pokémon will be distributed between Sept. 29 and Oct. 6. The Pokémon will be also be distributed at Pokémon Centers.

To commemorate the nine-year run of Pokémon Smash!, the show announced a Sableye distribution that will run from Sept. 15 until Sept. 28. Sableye is based on the one that has appeared on Pokémon Smash! and Pokémon Sunday, which is predecessor of Pokémon Smash!. Sableye will be distributed at Pokémon Centers throughout Japan. Sableye will be available for the Pokémon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 games.

Sableye will be level 50, have the Classic Ribbon, come in a Cherish Ball, and will be holding Black Sludge. Its OT is 「しょちょう」 Chief, and it has the moves Foul Play, Octazooka, Tickle and Trick which were chosen by one of the hosts, Chief Golgo Matsumoto. It has its Hidden Ability Prankster.

A new Pocket Monsters XY trailer was also shown. The trailer featured a Mega Blaziken jumping down from the top of a building. It also featured a Garchomp was raging in the city; the Garchomp had glowing red eyes and a red ring around its abdomen. Ash and Pikachu were also shown falling off of the roof of a tall building.

Several character boards were shown, depicting who would be in the new series. Bonnie, Clemont, Team Rocket, Serena, and Viola were shown on the boards.
