One of the cut scenes

On February 5, the thirteenth Pokémon movie aired on Cartoon Network. Ten minutes of Zoroark: Master of Illusions were cut from the beginning of the movie, causing two plot holes. TPCi was not aware of the cut prior to airing, and has since contacted Cartoon Network. All future airings of the movie will have the missing section of the intro re-added in its entirety.

In an interview with a Bulbanews staff writer, a TPCi representative said:

Our broadcaster cut this portion of the movie without our notice, or approval.

We have been working with them on this issue, and further broadcasts of this movie will have the missing portion intact.

Thank you,
Dave

The scenes that were cut out from the dub premiere of the movie include Ash and co. learning about the Pokémon Baccer World Cup in Crown City; Kodai participating in the tournament with the legendary beasts Raikou, Entei and Suicune; Kodai capturing Zoroark and forcing her to transform into the Legendary Beasts and destroy the Crown City; and Zorua escaping Kodai's airship.

The "World of Pokémon" intro, along with Ash and his Pikachu having a Pokémon battle against Ethan and his Donphan, was also cut out from the Cartoon Network premiere.
