Updated Jan. 27
Pokemon.com has reposted and updated an event listing for a Shaymin distribution to be held in U.S. Toys "R" Us stores Feb. 8-14. The event page also confirmed the English name of the Glacidea Flower is the Gracidea Flower. The item can be obtained in Pokémon Platinum if the player has this particular Shaymin in his or her party. It can be used to transform Shaymin from its Land Forme into its Sky Forme.

Players of Pokémon Diamond or Pearl can obtain Shaymin from in-store DS Download Stations. The store will also distribute a coupon for $5 off any Pokémon Nintendo DS game and a free Giratina and the Sky Warrior promotional poster. The coupon will only be valid throughout the duration of the event. As usual with Diamond and Pearl Toys 'R' Us events, this Shaymin will be in a Cherish Ball. Shaymin will be at level 50, and will know Seed Flare, Aromatherapy, Substitute and Energy Ball. Shaymin will hold a Micle Berry, marking this berry's first legitimate appearance in the United States.

Last week, Toys "R" Us created a Facebook event page for a Shaymin giveaway to be held Feb. 8-14 in participating U.S. stores. However, Toys "R" Us deleted the event listing on Monday. This came after Pokemon.com posted an announcement that it will reveal the event on Thursday. The Pokemon.com announcement did not give any details about the event, only that there would be one. Pokemon.com also deleted its page about the event.
