The XY series of the Pokémon anime

Almost a year after Hungama TV started airing the anime from the very first episode with a new voice cast, the channel introduced the Indian audience to the latest series of the anime. The first two episodes of Pokémon the Series: XY, Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin and Lumiose City Pursuit debuted on the channel during rerun slots, without any promos. No news regarding further episodes has been announced yet.

The anime first debuted in India in 2003 with Pokémon: Indigo League, on the Indian counterpart of Cartoon Network. Having aired upto Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension, the anime was shifted to its sister channel, Pogo TV in 2011, which aired upto Pokémon: Black and White. In 2014, the rights to the anime were acquired by Hungama TV, which started Pokémon: Indigo League with a new voice cast. It currently airs Pokémon Master Quest.
