Nearly eight years after its original release in US theatres, the third Pokémon movie is now available for digital download off the Apple iTunes Store. Of particular note is the fact that the movie is in widescreen format (compared to the fullscreen of the original DVD version), and for users of the Apple TV digital media receiver, is available in high definition, marking the first time a Pokémon movie has been available in high definition in the US market. It is not known if or when other Pokémon movies will become available for digital download.
