The 2018 International Challenge - March tournament has been announced. All participants will receive 50 Battle Points. Players may register between midnight UTC on March 15 and 11:59 p.m. UTC on March 22. The competition will run from midnight UTC on March 23 until 11:59 p.m. UTC on March 25. Participants born in 2003 or later will be in the Junior/Senior Division. Players born in 2002 or earlier will be in the Master Division. Junior/Senior Division players may only play between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. local time. The results will be announced in April.

This competition will use the official VGC2018 rules. Only Pokémon in the National Pokédex that have the black clover Black clover.png on the summary screen that aren't Mythical Pokémon, Phione, Ash-Greninja, Cosmog, Cosmoem, or any Legendary Pokémon that are listed in the official rules may be used. Pokémon transferred from previous generation games cannot be used. Every held item must be different on each Pokémon and each Pokémon cannot share the same National Pokédex number. All Pokémon will be automatically set to level 50.

Four Pokémon will be used each match. Each battle will last a maximum of five minutes. Players will have 90 seconds to pick which four Pokémon they will battle with and 45 seconds to select a move or switch Pokémon. Participants may battle 15 times a day for a maximum of 45 battles. The top players in each age division will receive Championship Points. Players must win or lose three battles to receive Battle Points.
