23 more {{bp|Generation III}} Pokémon have been made available in Pokémon GO. Additionally, for a limited time all newly obtained {{pkmn|Egg}}s will be guaranteed to hatch into a Generation III Pokémon.

The newly added Pokémon are mostly {{type|Rock}}, but not all of them are. The following 23 Pokémon were added:
{{bp|Pokémon Go}} announced 23 new Pokémon from the Hoenn Region on January 23rd, as well as a new egg event that allows Pokémon from Hoenn to hatch from every egg for limited time. Among the 23 Pokémon announced for the game {{p|Solrock}} and {{p|Lunatone}} will be featured. The new horde of Pokémon focuses on ground and rock types, but also features the {{p|Whismur}} line the full line up is as follows.
