According to recent news postings on the Famitsu web site, Nintendo recently held a meeting to discuss the current trend of Nintendo DS software sales, and their future plans for DS and Wii releases. For Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Nintendo has revealed that there will be a worldwide voice-chat functionality built into the game, thus revealing that the upcoming games will take advantage of Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection online service. Also, Nintendo announced a Pokémon title for the Wii was in the works. Currently titled Pokémon Battle Revolution, it'll feature connectivity with the DS titles and the same battle simulation functionality used in previous Pokémon  console titles. There is no word though if Pokémon Battle Revolution has Wi-Fi connectivity as well.
