Anime News Network reports that 27-Year Old Makoto Sekiguchi was arrested this Tuesday by police from Chikusei City in Ibaraki Prefecture for allegedly using his mobile phone to take photographs of then-unreleased Pokémon (Janovy, Chaobu and Futachimaru) and then distributing them on the internet on 1st September 2010; 17 days before the official release of the Nintendo DS titles Pokémon Black and White Versions.

Although police did not release the source of the images, they did confirm that the images were from the October issue of CoroCoro Magazine, which was due out on 15th September 2010.

It is reported that Makoto Sekiguchi said that he "thought I would show everyone the characters that haven't been made public yet."
