Articuno Day

Articuno Day is a reward for completing Professor Willow's Global Challenge in Pokémon GO. The first round of the challenge begins on June 30 and July 1 during the Safari Zone event in Dortmund, Germany. If certain areas of the world meet these requirements, XP bonuses for catching Pokémon, hatching Eggs and, Raid Battle participation will be unlocked, starting July 2. In addition, until July 9, players can unlock a bonus to make Lucky Eggs last an hour.

If the challenge is completed, players worldwide will be given five free Raid Passes when they spin a Photo Disc at a Gym for Articuno Day, featuring the Legendary Pokémon Articuno, which first appeared in the Kanto region. On July 7, Articuno will be available in Raid Battles around the world for 3 hours. It is possible to encounter its Shiny form.
