As many Pokémon fans are aware, Wonder Guard is an ability that shields a Pokémon from any damage caused by moves that aren't super-effective. As Spiritomb is a dual Ghost/Dark-type Pokémon, it is therefore protected from receiving damage from any attacks (with the exception of {{m|Fire Fang}}, which is somehow able to circumvent Wonder Guard regardless).
The Spiritomb is a level 50 Shiny Pokémon with the ability {{a|Wonder Guard}}, the moves {{m|Shadow Force}}, {{m|Focus Punch}}, {{m|Softboiled}}, and {{m|Safeguard}}, the OT of "PKMNInt," and the Trainer ID of 27042. The Pokémon is in a Cherish Ball, has Pokérus, and holds BlackGlasses.

While it may seem tempting to unsuspecting players, we wish to make people aware that this Spiritomb has been hacked, and is not authorised by any official sources. As a result, Spiritomb would not be allowed to enter any official tournaments and any player carrying one on their games (even without the intention of using it) could be disqualified before entering.
The hacked Wonder Card consists of a message saying "Pokémon International's Surprise!" and a grammatically-incorrect description of "SPIRITOMB might be hard to hit but really packs a wallop! Just to clarify, this Spiritomb is '''NOT legitimate''', and any players who has downloaded one from the tour should release it immediately.

Spiritomb

A hacked Spiritomb is being distributed at the Oakridge Mall in San Jose at the BW Mall Tour. Fans are advised not to avail of this Pokémon due to the nature of the event. The hacked Pokémon is being distributed alongside fully legitimate Celebi.

The Spiritomb is a level 50 Shiny Pokémon with the ability Wonder Guard, the moves Shadow Force, Focus Punch, Softboiled, and Safeguard, the OT of "PKMNInt," and the Trainer ID of 27042. The Pokémon is in a Cherish Ball, has Pokérus, and holds BlackGlasses.

The hacked Wonder Card consists of a message saying "Pokémon International's Surprise!" and a grammatically-incorrect description of "SPIRITOMB might be hard to hit but really packs a wallop! Its as if this Pokémon has a Wonderful shield around it that Guards against most attacks! SPIRITOMB is legit!"

This hacked event is very similar to one that occurred at the Nintendo World release party for Pokémon Platinum, wherein a hacked Gengar and a hacked Eevee were distributed.
