Early Monday morning, Meowth346 wrote a program to automatically update the front page news items. The program currently uses a moderately complex algorithm to select and prioritise articles, but it is expected to become even more complex to simulate a hand-picked front page.

The program was put into live service Tuesday night, and was scheduled to make its first regular update at 8PM UTC, however, there were complications and the scheduler failed to execute the program. Later, it was revealed that the scheduler has been malfunctioning for some time now. Steve Heffron, V.P., Customer Service Director at innerChambers has said that it would be fixed together with the other glitches.
