Several pages of the June issue of CoroCoro were recently leaked to Japanese internet Forums. Pages from the leak revealed that Sceptile and Swampert would both be receiving Mega Evolutions. Mega Sceptile is a Grass/Dragon type with the ability Lightningrod. Mega Swampert has the ability Swift Swim and a bulky appearance. Mega Blaziken was also showcased, but had no apparent changes from Pokémon X and Y. Mega Sceptile's height and weight is 1.9m / 55.2kg and is able to use Leaf Storm. Additionally, new artwork of Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip were included along with the Megas.

The issue also revealed that the upcoming Diancie would be receiving a Mega Evolution. Mega Diancie's ability is currently listed as "???"

New information regarding Groudon and Kyogre's new forms were released. The two legendary Pokémon enters a new state known as "Primordial Revival", with the new forms being known as "Primordial Groudon" and "Primordial Kyogre". They are said to have 'reclaimed their original power in the modern day'.

Additionally, the following information was included in the leaked pages:

  • Team Magma returns to Omega Ruby and Team Aqua comes to Alpha Sapphire. Their members have a drastic redesign.
