Update: A new image has surfaced from people from 2ch who have copies of CoroCoro. It states that the Tanabata event Jirachi, previously available by entering the Pokémon Daisuki Club's raffle, will be available at slected McDonald's restaurants from June 19 to July 17 to all players of the Japanese version of Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. Screenshots from the upcoming WiiWare game Melee! Pokemon Scramble! also appear at the bottom of the page. Rumors say that a Jirachi can be obtained from the said game and trading it to HeartGold and SoulSilver will unlock a new area called Edge of the Night Sky.

Another two scans from CoroCoro also surfaced, revealing the boxes for HeartGold and SoulSilver. They are a bit bigger due to the PokéWalker being included. The cover shows different artworks of Ho-Oh and Lugia from the ones found on the official Japanese site. Behind them is the map of Johto, with the Tin Tower and Whirl Islands being included on the cover of HeartGold and SoulSilver, respectively. (see below for boxart)

Another set of images from CoroCoro were recently released, revealing more information on Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. The things shown here include new artwork for Professor Elm, Silver and the female Team Rocket Grunt, appearing more like they did in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Sprites for both the characters Gold and Silver can also be seen.

One image reveals that three of the legendary Pokémon of HoennGroudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza — will also be available in the games. Upon beating the Elite Four of Johto, Kyogre and Groudon can be caught in HeartGold and SoulSilver, respectively. Their location is currently unknown. Once both Pokémon are brought together in either HeartGold or SoulSilver, Rayquaza can be encountered.

A third image shows a picture of Cynthia and apparently in includes more on the legend of Arceus.

The fourth image shows Arceus and Cynthia together in an unknown place in HeartGold and SoulSilver where there are three symbols on the floor. One of the characters in the image is saying, "They were given the right to choose one life out of three" with no additional context. There are rumors going around Japanese forums which state that if the Arceus obtained from official events is traded to HeartGold or SoulSilver, a level 1 Dialga, Palkia or Giratina can be caught.
