CoroCoro reveals tidbits on HeartGold and SoulSilver

Template:Img Today, Filb.de recieved scans of the June issue of CoroCoro. The scans reveal more information about Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. There will be updated Ken Sugimori artwork for the Generation II Pokémon, as the stock art for them no longer matches the modern artwork of the three other generations. Instead of redesigning Kris, the female player character from the Generation II games, a new female character was created.

The scan shows a game footage outside of Sprout Tower and the Slowpoke Well. The scan also reveals the Pikachu-colored Pichu downloadable from the 12th movie will play a role in HeartGold and SoulSilver. It apparently activates an event within Ilex Forest once transferred over in the games. A screenshot that shows Celebi's shrine on the pages.
