CoroCoro scans

A set of scans of the magazine CoroCoro has been leaked by people from 2ch.net and the blog HeartDrop. It reveals new artwork of several Pokémon, as well as a non-playable character. It also shows new features in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, including the Johto map.

The scan shows new artwork of the Pokémon Entei, Raikou and Suicune, as well as Eusine, a character who only appeared in Pokémon Crystal. This confirms his appearance in the games HeartGold and SoulSilver. Overworld sprites of the said Pokémon in the Brass Tower, as well as Ho-Oh's on the Tin Tower and Lugia's in Whirl Islands, can also be seen. Entei's, Ho-oh's and Lugia's sprites can also be seen. Entei, Raikou and Suicune will be able to be caught at level 40.

Another scan, along with Pokémon Sunday footage, revealed Pokéthlon, a touchscreen-based racing game, and a few other unknown minigames will be included in the games. The Kimono Girls will have roles in the storyline and will be met several times, instead of just being battled in the Kimono Dance Theater in Ecruteak City. The level 1 Dialga, Palkia and Giratina only available by trading Arceus to the games can know the special moves Metal Burst, Hydro Pump and Shadow Sneak, respectively. Ho-Oh and Lugia will also be available at level 45 in the Tin Tower and Whirl Islands, respectively, and the red Gyarados will be available at level 30 in the Lake of Rage. It appears that it will be raining when it is encountered. More features of the PokéGear, as well as more updated locations, can be seen.
