Nintendo's official press site has announced that the Crystal Red and Blue Nintendo 2DS models will have a North American release on Nov. 21, 2014.
These models, whose release is set to coincide with Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, have a suggested retail price of $99.99, $20 less than the MSRP of the previous 2DS models.
These designs had previously been announced for Europe under the titles Transparent Red and Transparent Blue. However, a bundle containing one of these designs and Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire was announced for Europe; no such bundle has been announced for North America.
