Darkrai will be distributed in Korea to the viewers of the 17th movie that features Diancie.

The Darkrai will be given to players via infrared from January 15th to 18th, 2015. Players must have a Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire to receive the Darkrai. They also need a movie ticket for viewing the movie during the four-day period.

The Darkrai's level will be 50. Its ability will be Bad Dreams, and it will know the moves Dark Void, Dark Pulse, Phantom Force, and Dream Eater. It will be holding an Enigma Berry and have the Wishing Ribbon. It will be inside a Cherish Ball.

A set number of cinemas will host the event, such as 롯데시네마 (Lotte Cinema), CGV, and 메가박스 (Megabox) in COEX. In all locations, the distribution will start at 9:00 AM and end at 6:00 PM.

Darkrai can also be obtained by purchasing the limited edition Pokemon calendar featuring official art related to the movie. The calendar includes a movie ticket as well as the Darkrai. Specific information regarding how to receive the Darkrai via purchasing the calendar is unknown. The calendar is being sold at the Pokemon Winter Carnival 2014 event at the D-Cube Department Store.
