Jan. 18th. 2018 London, UK announced its Legendary Year of Pokémon. The Event will distribute Legendary Pokémon, house special Pokémon Trading Card Game sets will air movies associated with the Legendary Pokémon on the Pokémon Tv App, as well as events across apps Pokémon Go, and Pokémon Shuffle. The event is a "thank you to all the fans that have committed so passionately to the franchise over the years" according to J.C. Smith, Senior Director of Marketing for POkémon Company International. One part of the event is Video Game Distributions and are as follows Feb.: The Steel-Dragon Pokemon Dialga, the second The Water-Dragon Pokemon Palkia From Sinnoh the first distribution will be available in the UK at Game stores and in Ireland at Gamestop Mar.: The Legendary Normal Type Pokémon Regigigas, or aHeatran a fire/ steel type Pokémon From {bp|Sinnoh}} April: Raikou the Electric Type Legendary Pokémon, or Entei the Fire Type Legendary Pokemon From Johto May: Pokémon The Fairy Type Legendary Pokemon, Or Pokemon the Dark/Flying Type Pokémon From Kalos Jun: Zygarde The dragon/Ground Type pokémon with three distinct forms from the Kalos and Alola Regions Jul: Tornadus the Flying Type Legendary Pokémon, or Thundurus The Electric/Flying Legendary From Unova Aug: Groudon the ground type legendary, or Kyogre the water type Legendary from the Hoenn Region Sept: Latios/Latias The Dragon/Psychic Legendary Pokemon From Hoenn Oct.: Reshiram The Dragon-and fire type Pokémon, or Zekrom the Dragon-Electric Type Pokémon From the Unova Region Nov: Ho-Oh The Fire and Flying Legendary, or Lugia The Psychic and flying pokémon. PLayers of Pokémon Go and Pokémon Shuffle will also be able to participate in legendary year distributions. In Shuffle special and expert stages will feature legendary Pokémon, and Dialga and Palkia will be available to play from Feb. 6th-13th.Pokemon Go PLayers can expect to see special promotions featuring Legendary Pokémon in 2018 with details to come soon. Finally, The Pokémon TV App will feature special movies that feature the legendary Pokémon each month. For example, Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai which features Dialga and Palkia will air in Feb.2018.
