Japan's fifth BW era TCG expansion has been announced. The set, much like the third Black & White set: Psycho Drive/Hail Blizzard, will be split into two subsets, named Dragon Blade and Dragon Blast, that as the names suggest will feature the new Dragon TCG type. The sets will release Mar. 16. The two subsets will be accompanied by two half decks. The two half decks feature Hydreigon and Garchomp. Both of the decks will contain 30 cards each, and can be bought for 780円. The promotional text confirms Dragon type Pokémon-EX cards.

April will also be featuring its fair share of TCG products in Japan. Two currently unnamed Battle Strength Decks will be releasing on the 20th for 780円. In addition to the Battle Strength Decks, a new "Beginning Set" will be released the same day. The promotional text for the Beginning Set says it will be an "All Region Pokédex Version," and "Cards and Designs renewal! Let's start the PTCG from here!"
