The first three Pokémon movies of the Pokémon anime have undergone a remastering for a Blu-ray disc release that is set for a release date of February 9, 2016.

Viz Media will release the set on behalf of Warner Home Video, whose parent company Warner Bros. holds exclusive rights to the English dubs of the first three movies outside Japan.

The limited edition Steelbook set will include a lossy 2.0 Stereo track of the 4Kids dub of the movies, presented in 16:9 widescreen. The set reportedly excludes the special features from the original DVD releases of the movies from Warner Home Video. It is unknown whether or not the Pikachu shorts from all three of the movies will be retained in the set.

The set is available to pre-order on Amazon.com as of December 16th.
