The English names of the four Pokémon and the new NPCs shown in CoroCoro have been revealed.
In English, Shishiko is called Litleo, and Furabebe is known as Flabébé.
While it was known that Spewpa was the English name of either Kofūrai or Kofukimushi due to the Spanish and Italian versions of Pokémon.com, it has been revealed that Kofūrai is known as Spewpa in English, while Kofukimushi is known as Scatterbug.
Sana's English name is Shauna, Tieruno's is Tierno, and Toroba's is Trevor. The English names of the opposite-gender player character are Serena (female) and Calem (male). Pansy is known as Alexa in English. Viola's name stays the same in English.

The games’ newly discovered Kalos region will feature many towns to explore, people to meet, and never-before-seen Pokémon to encounter. Welcome to Vaniville Town Once a player has chosen to play as a male or female Trainer, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y begins in Vaniville Town.
