The title of the final Pokémon movie of the three-movie story arc was recently revealed by the official Pokémon site. The twelfth Pokémon movie will be entitled Arceus and the Jewel of Life. The movie features the tagline A Tale Untold. A Legend Unleashed.

The official site also confirmed the English names of the movie's setting and a character of the movie. These are Michina Town and Sheena, respectively.

Following the other members of the trilogy, The Rise of Darkrai and Giratina and the Sky Warrior, the movie will once again feature the trio of Dialga, Palkia and Giratina, as they continue to fight each other. The movie also stars the legendary Arceus, who is in rage for the betrayal of Sheena's ancestor in the past. Ash Ketchum and his friends, with Sheena and the help of Dialga, travel back in time to correct the mistake involving the Jewel of Life.

No release date for the movie was given. The distribution dates of two event Pokémon for the movie also still remain unknown.
