Everyone's Pokémon Farm

Nintendo has announced that Everyone's Pokémon Farm (みんなのポケモン牧場, previously known as Pokémon Farm Channel), will be available to download for Wiis in Japan beginning in March. The WiiWare title will allow players of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl to store their Pokémon and interact with them on a virtual farm. The official Web site of the service opened today.

In the service, players of Diamond and Pearl will use the Pokémon Custody System to store their Pokémon on the farm, which is owned by Yukari, a friend of Bebe's (the Pokémon storage technician from DP). Players can walk among their Pokémon as their Miis and sort them as if they were in boxes. Players can also take pictures of their Pokémon and post them to the Wii message board to share with their friends or transfer them to an SD card to view on a computer.

The most Pokémon a player can store on the farm is 1,000.

It has still not been announced how many Wii Points the service will cost, and an exact release date has not been announced.
