Lisa Courtney surrounded by her collection

Lisa Courtney, a 21-year-old woman from the United Kingdom, has accomplished the feat of amassing the largest collection of Pokémon merchandise in the world.

Obtained over a span of thirteen years, Lisa's collection features 12,113 separate items. Her collection actually fills her family's house entirely. When asked about the record, Lisa said: "My family have been incredibly supportive considering the collection takes up the whole house, including my mother's room! I've even named the room where my main collection resides 'Pokémon Centre [Center] Europe!' To be in the new Gamer's Edition and to hold a world record for something you feel so passionate about is just an indescribable feeling."

This world record is officially recognized by Guinness World Records and awards Lisa Courtney a spot in Guinness World Records 2010 Gamer's Edition.
