Lisa Courtney, a 21-year-old woman from Europe, has accomplished the feat of amassing the largest collection of Pokémon merchandise in the world.

Obtained over a span of 13 years, Courtney's collection features 12,113 separate items. Her collection actually fills her family's house entirely. When asked about the record, Lisa said: "My family have been incredibly supportive considering the collection takes up the whole house, including my mother's room! I've even named the room where my main collection resides 'Pokémon Centre Europe!' To be in the new Gamer's Edition and to hold a world record for something you feel so passionate about is just an indescribable feeling."

This world record is officially recognized by Guinness World Records, and awards Courtney a spot in Guinness World Records 2010 Gamer's Edition.
