Pokémon the Series: XY

It has been exactly two months since the Pokémon anime moved to its new home in the US, and the network seems more than ready to treat the Pokémon fans with some quality content.

Starting with the 16th movie, the channel will air Genesect and the Legend Awakened on Feb. 10 at 9:00 p.m. In addition, Disney XD is set to air Pokémon 3: The Movie on Monday, Dec. 27 at 03:00 p.m.

Furthermore, Pokémon the Series: XY will start from this Saturday at 09:00 a.m. with Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin!. The full schedule for the 17th season is as follows:

• Feb. 11 - Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin! (09:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.)
• Feb. 12 - Lumiose City Pursuit! (07:30 p.m. and 09:30 p.m.)
• Feb. 13 - A Battle of Aerial Mobility! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 14 - A Shockingly Cheeky Friendship! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 15 - A Blustery Santalune Gym Battle! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 16 - Battling on Thin Ice! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 17 - Giving Chase at the Rhyhorn Race! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 18 - Grooming Furfrou! (09:00 a.m.)
• Feb. 20 - Clemont's Got a Secret! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 21 - Mega-Mega Meowth Madness! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 22 - The Bamboozling Forest! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 23 - To Catch a Pokémon Smuggler! (04:00 p.m.)
• Feb. 24 - Kindergarten Chaos! (04:00 p.m., rerun at 7:30 p.m. on the following day)

• Mar. 01 - A Jolting Switcheroo! (04:00 p.m.)

The Pokémon Company International first announced the anime's move to a new channel in the US on November 17. To commemorate the Japanese premiere of Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, Disney XD hosted a Pokémon marathon with US debut of Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel and the first two episodes from the Sun & Moon series as a sneak peek of the new season. The English dub of the 20th season is scheduled to start some time this year on Disney XD.
