Shortly before Christmas, it was reported that the fourteenth Pokémon movie pair Black—Victini and Reshiram and White—Victini and Zekrom will be released on DVD in North America on April 3. A listing has now appeared on British retailer Play.com that states that the pair will be released on region 2 DVD in the United Kingdom on April 9—just less than a week after the US release of April 3.
As with the United States, there are only listings for the DVD version of the film. While a Blu-ray version was released in Japan, it is now more than likely that only the DVD version will be available in those regions.
Earlier this week, White—Victini and Zekrom had its UK premiere on CITV; the Children's Television channel owned by ITV, which airs the Pokémon: Black & White anime series in the United Kingdom.
