The commercial revealed several never before seen Ancient Trait Pokémon, such as the first Psychic-type {{p|Tentacool}} ever to be released, and the first {{p|Gorebyss}} card to be released in the past seven years. {{p|Electrike}}, {{p|Mediacham}}, and {{p|Bunnelby}} were also seen for Gaia Volcano. The expansion will be released on Dec. 13 in Japan, and Feb. 4 in English as the {{TCG|Primal Clash}} expansion.

The five currently known cards have the following Ancient Traits. Tentacool also has the attack Psyshot, which deals 20 damage for {{e|Psychic}}{{e|Colorless}}.
