Go-Pokemon.com, the English Trading Card Game website, began to reveal cards from the upcoming English set, Platinum. According to the site, ten cards will be revealed before the actual prerelease starting the last weekend of January. Only two have been revealed at the moment.

The secretly released cards

So far, the cards revealed are Giratina (Platinum 10) and Honchkrow G (Platinum 77). Giratina was revealed on January 6th, with Honchkrow G followed two days later. The Giratina card is significant because it is the first English card release of Giratina's Origin Forme. Honchkrow G is also the first Pokémon SP to be revealed in English. This Honchkrow's owner is Cyrus. Also, two cards have been secretly revealed through videos and other sources: a POP promo prerelease Lucario card originating from the Entry Pack DPt, and a Shaymin card originating from Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky, the Japanese expansion of Stormfront.

The Platinum expansion is expected to contain 133 cards, and it will be released on February 11, 2009.
