The release date of the game is on September 2009. Various functions is expected to be in the games, featuring new elements. The site include details about the {{bp|Generation II}} {{bp|starter Pokémon}} {{p|Chikorita}}, {{p|Cyndaquil}} and {{p|Totodile}} and new artworks for them. New artwork are also seen for the {{bp|Version mascot}}s, {{p|Lugia}} and {{p|Ho-Oh}}, and for the {{bp|player character}}s, {{ga|Gold}} and {{ga|Soul}}.

The release date of the game in Japan is on Fall 2009. The site include details about the Generation II starter Pokémon, Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile, and new artworks for them. New artworks can also be seen for the Version mascots, Lugia and Ho-Oh, and for the player characters, Gold and his female counterpart.
