The Pokémon must be captured, hatched, or obtained through Mystery Gift and be a part of the three Kalos Pokédexes.

The Japan Cup 2014 will be held from 9 a.m. on May 2 until 10:59 p.m. on May 5. The tournament may be entered from the Pokémon Global Link website. This tournament is only available for Pokémon X and Y players from Japan that are members of the Pokémon Daisuki Club. Top-ranked players will be given tickets to the Pokémon World Championships Japanese Representatives Deciders tournament.
