Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo card

The most recent Nintendo Direct presentation revealed that Pokkén Tournament will be released for Wii U in Japan March 18, 2016. Internationally, the Wii U game is still slated for a Spring 2016 release.

The presentation also revealed that an amiibo card that unlocks Shadow Mewtwo will be available with the purchase of a first production run copy of Pokkén Tournament. Using the card will unlock Shadow Mewtwo in Pokkén Tournament, but Shadow Mewtwo can also be unlocked in normal gameplay.
