Nintendo of Korea has announced two important dates for Korean fans: a release date for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, and a release date for the twelfth Pokémon movie.

HeartGold and SoulSilver will be released in Korea on Feb. 4, 2010: surprisingly before the US release. The Korean-language release of Pokémon games has always been at least several months after the English release. However, no official date for the US or European releases has been given yet.

HeartGold and SoulSilver are remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver, which were originally released in Korea on April 25, 2002. The remakes will be rated E for Everyone and bundled with the PokéWalker, much like the Japanese release of Sep. 12, 2009.

Meanwhile, the final movie in the Diamond and Pearl arc will debut on Dec. 24, 2009. This movie takes Ash Ketchum and his friends back in time, where they meet the 493rd Pokémon: Arceus. This movie has already screened in Japan, Australia, the US, and Canada.
