Enlarged version of the four Pokémon character faces

A preview video of Super Smash Bros. Brawl posted on the official Japanese Wii site has revealed the inclusion of Lucario as a playable character in the game. Jigglypuff was also seen as a returning character.

At 4:20 in the video, the faces of Lucario and Jigglypuff are seen among Pikachu's and Pokémon Trainer's in the lower right corner of the screen as playable characters who can use the powers of selected stickers in the Subspace Emissary adventure mode. In the relevant screenshot, the selected sticker is of Groudon.

It is likely that Lucario, like Jigglypuff in past Smash Bros. games, will be an unlockable character, possibly replacing Mewtwo, who was playable in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The trailer also revealed the inclusion of Ness, who had not yet been confirmed on the official Smash Bros. Web site.
