Serial codes to obtain Mew and three Pokémon owned by Trainers from Pokémon the Movie 20: I Choose You! will be available at 7-Eleven stores in Japan. These codes can be redeemed in Pokémon Sun and Moon.

From July 11 to 31, 2017, codes to obtain Mew will be available at 7-Eleven stores in Japan via 7-SPOT. The codes can be redeemed from July 11 to August 7, 2017. This Mew will be level 50 and have the Original Trainer 20TH★.

From August 1 to 20, 2017, codes to obtain Pokémon based on the Trainer's Pokémon from Pokémon the Movie 20: I Choose You! will be available at 7-Eleven stores in Japan via 7-SPOT from 7 am to 7 pm. The codes can be redeemed from August 1 to 28, 2017. Ash's Charizard, Souji's Lucario, and Makoto will be available.

  • Ash's Charizard will be level 40 and have the Original Trainer サトシ.
  • Souji's Lucario will be level 40 and have the Original Trainer ソウジ.
  • Makoto's Piplup will be level 30 and have the Original Trainer マコト.

To obtain the codes, players need to go to different 7-Eleven stores and collect virtual stamps using 7-SPOT from 7 am to 7 pm in the respective durations. If a player has two different stamps, they can obtain one of the codes for a Pokémon. Each serial code requires the player to collect two stamps, so the player will need eight stamps to obtain codes for all four Pokémon.

Note that using the Japanese date format, July 11 is formatted as 7/11.
