Thanks to True-Gaming.net, an Arabic gaming site, some images from Famitsu magazine have been released. Also, some close-up cellphone shots have been taken of CoroCoro Comic.

The Famitsu magazine images have shown multiple aspects of the game. The pages show a new 3D selection screen for the starters, new overworld sprites for them, and a small shot of the bottom screen, which has a different interface than the PokéGear. It also shows some information on the Pikachu-colored Pichu event. It apparently triggers an event when it is traded to Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. A 3D screenshot of inside Sprout Tower is also seen.

The magazine also mentions that the Arceus obtained from the twelfth movie distributions will have in-game effects in Platinum. According to Serebii.net, it simply completes the story of Arceus.

The CoroCoro closeups do not reveal new information.
