On the 3rd floor of the Pokémon Garden, on the Yahoo! Kids official Pokémon Diamond and Pearl website, is the Game Freak development room. In the room are virtual representations of the Battle Director Shigeki Morimoto (森本茂樹), Head of Development Jun'ichi Masuda (増田順一) and Art Director Ken Sugimori (杉森 健).

Masuda mentions that the first gym leader is helmeted, but does not say what type the gym is. He continues thinking about evolving Pokémon, and ponders what type Diaruga and Parukia should be.

Morimoto (森本茂樹) mentions a new Psychic-type move.

Sugimori asks the user whether they think of a pre-evolutionary form of Roselia. (An evolved form of Roselia has already been revealed.) If the user pesters him enough, he reveals not one, but two silhouettes, shown right.

The unnamed female staff member who suggested that the starters could be Fighting/Dark/Psychic (see our previous report) now states that she "would like to see a pre-evolutionary form of Lucario."
