Serebii.net has reported that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 3 will be called Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Sky. New starter Pokémon will include Phanpy, Eevee, Riolu, Shinx and Vulpix.
While it has not been confirmed that the game will only come in one version, Serebii only reported one game title.
The gear logo and title make it possible that this is not a third series, but a direct sequel of Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, like Pokémon Platinum to Diamond and Pearl.
Because of its title, many are speculating that the game will include Shaymin and its Sky Forme, possibly as main characters.
Update: Serebii has reported on multiple new aspects of the game. Meowth and Munchlax will no longer be starter Pokémon, and the storyline will pick up where Time and Darkness left off, showing what happened to the Grovyle and how the Wigglytuff Guild comes together. He also reported that the members of the guild might be playable, but they could just be other Pokémon on the player's team that can become the leader.
